LayerPlayer ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Device File Access

The app accesses the following information to provide music playback functionality:

• Audio files in user-selected folders (MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, FLAC, OGG, etc.)
• Cover image files (cover.jpg, cover.png, cover.webp)

This information is used only on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.

1.2 Google Drive Integration (Optional Feature)

When using the Google Drive music playback feature:

• Google Sign-In: Authentication with your Google account is required. We use Google Sign-In for authentication.
• Data Accessed: We only access audio files (MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, FLAC, OGG, etc.) in folders you select.
• Access Permissions: The app requests "read-only" permission (drive.readonly scope) only. We cannot modify, delete, or create files in your Google Drive.
• Purpose of Data Use: Files are used solely for streaming music playback.
• Data Storage: Files retrieved from Google Drive are used only for streaming playback and are not permanently stored on your device. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device.

You can revoke Google Drive access at any time from within the app settings, or from your Google Account permissions page.

1.3 Voice Data (AI Voice Control Feature)

When using the AI voice control feature:

• Audio is recorded from your microphone
• Recorded audio is processed on-device for speech recognition, or through Google Gemini API if configured by the user
• Voice data is used only for recognizing and processing voice commands
• This feature is optional and can be disabled

1.4 App Settings

The following settings are stored locally on your device:

• Selected folder path (local or Google Drive)
• Playback speed settings
• Autoplay settings
• Repeat and shuffle mode settings
• Equalizer settings
• Ad-free purchase status
• Gemini API key (if configured by user)

1.5 Advertising Information

The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect:

• Advertising ID
• Device information (model, OS version, etc.)
• IP address
• Ad interaction data

This information is processed according to Google's Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Information

Collected information is used only for the following purposes:

• Providing music playback functionality (local storage and Google Drive)
• Displaying cover artwork
• Enabling voice command operations
• Saving and restoring user preferences
• Displaying advertisements (unless ad-free purchase is made)
• Improving app functionality

3. Information Sharing

We do not share your information with third parties except in the following cases:

• With your consent
• When required by law
• With Google AdMob for advertising purposes
• With Google services when using the Google Drive integration feature

4. Data Storage and Management

• Local music and image files remain on your device only and are never transmitted to external servers
• Google Drive music files are used only for streaming playback and are not downloaded to your device
• App settings are stored in local storage on your device
• Voice data is processed temporarily only and is not stored by the app
• Google authentication tokens are stored securely on your device and are never transmitted externally

You can delete your data using the following methods:

• Uninstall the app: All local settings data will be deleted
• Clear app data: You can clear the app's data from your device settings
• Revoke Google Drive access: You can revoke the app's access from your Google Account settings

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

• Google authentication uses OAuth 2.0; your password is never stored by the app
• All network communications are encrypted using HTTPS
• Authentication tokens are stored in secure storage

However, we cannot guarantee complete security over the Internet.

The app uses the following third-party services:

• Google Sign-In - Authentication for Google Drive access
• Google Drive API - Read-only access to cloud music files
• Google AdMob - Advertisement delivery
• Google Play Billing - In-app purchase processing
• Google Gemini API - AI voice control (when enabled by user)

8. Children's Privacy
